Cross-Platform Testing – Triage – Launch

Challenge: After being live for 6 months, certain site functions were not behaving as expected on a number of popular, newly released mobile devices.
Solution: As an inherited site, I took a deep dive with the Lead Developer and Art Director to understand how it was built from the ground up, how we could fix these issues and how to future-proof it.
Result: Following the update, user retention rates on these devices immediately improved as expected and the site remained functional on all new devices until its scheduled removal in 2017.

Challenge: As a premium brand, matching customers to their perfect appliances required a high level of sophistication in order to keep users engaged throughout the experience.
Solution: Research and testing provided proof that varying the types of interaction throughout the user journey significantly improved user experience. Given this, I organized and led a team ideation session which produced a variety of engaging, on-brand approaches.
Result: Upon release, data revealed a higher than expected user retention rate and an increased volume of customer inquiries to retailers in areas where the app was used most frequently.
